California Advancing Bill AB 2642 That Would Take Away Your Ability To Question Elected Officials
State Rep Bill Essayli “This State law would — allow bureaucrats at the State and County level to sue you, members of the public, when you voice your concerns to them.”
“Federal law doesn't allow election officials to sue under the Voting Rights Act. Only the Department of Justice is authorized to initiate legal action against private individuals.
This state law would change that, and it's going to allow bureaucrats at the state and county level to sue you, members of the public, when you voice your concerns to them.”
This would be done under the disguise of “intimidation”. It would give elected officials the ability to say they feel “intimidated” and then sue you for voicing concerns.
“AB 2642 is an unprecedented power-grab by government bureaucrats who want to weaponize our civil system against freedom of speech.”

There are certain prohibitions against kind of intimidation. This goes a step further. It allows for civil damages. It also says that if you have a gun near a polling place or an elections site, then there's a presumption that you have that weapon for intimidation purposes. And so it gives the presumption that that's the case. So this makes it a bit, this strengthens, I think, our protections for elections officials. And just to add a little bit onto what Neil said and provide some color.

One group you should be able to waterboard , the Elected Officials
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny.
When the government fears the people, there is freedom.
...this is another incremental move to tyranny.
One small step towards totalitarianism.
When Californians finally get the sense to revolt against the leftist lowers currently ruling them, I hope that they televise the firing squad and guillotine deaths of the ex-’leaders’. I’ll watch and watch again. And cheer.
Be sure to tell all the location of the graves so that we can travel to CA and take bodacious Obama on them.
Will Gavin Putin sign this?
The despots never seem to grasp that once they remove all civilized forms of redress from the citizenry, all that’s left are the unpleasant (for them) ones.
elected officials the ability to say they feel “intimidated” and then sue you

The lemmings in CA will be ok with this.
Seems as though the Founders of this Nation did not see the prospect of the sort of traitors that we have apparently elected to office and their ability to circumvent the safety nets that they left in place to protect the people from their out of control government...
Just like China 🇨🇳 and Nazi Germany 🇩🇪.
The same folks actively silencing “Free Speech” will shout about the risk of “losing all our rights” under Trump.
Federal law doesn’t allow election officials to sue under the Voting Rights Act.
This state law would change that.
Any questions how communism operates.
