The federal government in 2020 and 2023 changed who it said could safely donate organs and blood, reducing the restrictions on men who have had sex with another man.
But the FDA’s restrictions on donated tissue, a catchall term encompassing everything from a person’s eyes to their skin and ligaments, remain in place. Advocates, lawmakers, and groups focused on removing barriers to cornea donations, in particular, said they are frustrated the FDA hasn’t heeded their calls. They want to align the guidelines for tissue donated by gay and bisexual men with those that apply to the rest of the human body.
Such groups have been asking the FDA for years to reduce the deferral period from five years to 90 days, meaning a man who has had sex with another man would be able to donate tissue as long as such sex didn’t occur within three months of his death.

How in the H*LL could someone possibly know a homo donor's recent sexual history after he's DEAD?!
Makes about as much 'sense' as all the other insanity they're pushing.
And who would want an @nus or colon transplant from a pole smoker?
So in addition to wondering about the safety of the nation’s blood supply, we now have this.
And Big Med will go along with this because it is has proven itself to be willing for the shilling.
It’s never enough for the sexual deviants. They won’t be satisfied until all of our AIDS rates are the same as theirs.
Aids was a privileged, political disease. No surprise that the carriers would be treated as a privileged class.
Queer eye from a dead guy?
AIDS was the entire impetus for HIPAA legislation.
Here comes AIDS!
Think of it this is way:
You just had anal sex with every guy your tissue donor did.
Feeling safe?
“Come on, ev’rybody we’ve got quilting to do!”
Replace “restrictions” and “barriers” with “protections”.
I had an ulcer once that resulted in severe bleeding in a public restroom(picture the scene from Carrie, not quite that much, but not far off, I had been taking aspirin at the time, unaware of what it was doing to me), and ended up in hospital
Long story short, doc said I needed an immediate blood transfusion, but indicated that while the chance of getting blood infected with aids was low, it was not zero
Imagine having to face such a decision! Not cool!
Maybe he was lying in a hospital bed, dying of AIDS, for 91 days.
Then his parts are good to go, right.
There’s probably a separate/special supply of blood, tissue/organs, water, food, etc, for the elites.
It’s a big club, but, we’re not in it.
Exactly who are these evil groups/lawmakers and advocates?
Advocates for what? Endangering all but the elite??
For the record,
“bisexual” = “gay”

Great idea if the goal is to create more Ryan Whites and Arthur Ashes.
Or is that just a pretext and what they want is to kill off as many sick people as possible?
I hope I never need another liver transplant, God only knows who I would get it from, if those standards are relaxed.
