Most predictions about the future are based on what has happened in the past which in general a pretty good bet. However these are times when the conditions may seem similar they are totally different.
Today, right now, we are in uncharted territory, there is nothing in our past that had a current President using the full weight of both state and Federal government to block an opposition candidate.
President Trumps supporters have already judged the many charges against him and decided they have no merit, so I doubt support for him will drop even if there is a guilty verdict. If anything his support may grow.
If Trump is guilty, Barack Obama is vulnerable and Biden is literally dead
