The reality that the Euros realize that Mother Russia is terminally ill. The present is the time to ensure if not death then institutionalization for several decades
I’m not so sure your “reality” isn’t spin as well. While I certainly don’t see Russia as any match for a unified Euro-US alliance in a full-scale conventional war, I do see them as imminently capable of getting what they want on a limited strategic scale. I see some sort of “revolution” in Russia as even more remote.
Ok Baghdad Bob! The sanctions freed, yes freed, Russia from western corporate dominance. The surge in Russian owned and operated business exploded and now Russia is making much more of its own industrial parts, machinery, electronics, and software. After the war is over you can expect to see an export boom of Russian products.
