Republican trolls Democrat Elizabeth Warren after slamming Israel's attack on Rafah: 'Ma'am, you voted to send those bombs'

Libertarian-minded Rep. Thomas Massie reminded Sen. Elizabeth Warren she voted for a foreign aid bill that sent arms to Israel as the Massachusetts Democrat called the IDF's offensive in Rafah 'horrific.'

'The Israeli bombing of a refugee camp inside a designated safe zone is horrific. Israel has a duty to protect innocent civilians and Palestinians seeking shelter in Rafah have nowhere safe to go,' Warren wrote on X.

Warren voted to pass a $95 billion foreign aid package that included $26 billion for Israel and Gaza. Some $9 billion was for humanitarian assistance in Gaza and over $9 billion went to Israel's defenses.

Massie opposed the package and signed on to an unsuccessful effort to try to oust Speaker Mike Johnson over it.

Israel expressed regret that its bombing had killed civilians in a refugee camp in Rafah - but said their missiles had killed two senior Hamas leaders.

Was Democrat Warren’s foreign aid vote persuaded by the exhortations of the J Street Lobby?

Eli Lake of The Atlantic reported that George Soros, the billionaire investor whose hostility to Israel and Zionism is no secret, is in fact one of the Israeli lobbies, “J Street’s,” larger donors, even though J Street has declared, time and time again, that Soros was not a supporter.

The passage of Biden’s billion-dollar funding bill made George Soros very happy. He got everything he wanted. Another source of income for Soros, for his financing lefties in the US govt? Is leftie Warren getting a “cut”-——otherwise known as a “campaign donation.”

WIKI-—Confidential IRS documents obtained by The Washington Times in 2010 showed that George Soros had been a donor to J Street since 2008. The approximately $750,000 from Soros and his family, together with donations from Hong Kong-based businesswoman amounted to about 15% of J Street’s funding in its early years.

In previous statements and on its web site J Street had seemed to deny receiving support from foreign interests and from Soros.

J Street’s Jeremy Ben-Ami apologized for earlier “misleading” statements regarding funding from Soros. Ben-Ami also clarified that donors to 501(c)(4) organizations are promised confidentiality by law and challenged critics to make public the contributions from opposing organizations.
