Poland is already bordered by Russia on the north (yes, a small border but with alot of firepower) and east (Bellarus is essentially Russian military anyway).
I can only opine that Poland is better off right now than it would likely be by overtly invading or attacking Russia

All Sikorski said is that Polish troops COULD be envisioned as helping Ukraine fend off Muscowite troops IN Ukraine.
