Trumpophobia (fright over Trump) is cresting with his polls.
As Trump continues to show leads in critical swing states, as various lawfare-inspired cases against him seem to the public to be more persecutions than prosecutions, and as Joe Biden appears daily more incoherent and lost, the left on spec has resorted to warning the nation about all the supposedly catastrophic consequences of a future Trump presidency.
Ironically, the left seems oblivious to the reality that one reason Trump leads Biden in the polls is precisely because voters can compare the four-year record of the prior Trump presidency to Biden’s last 40 months.
Recently, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned that Trump will conspire with oil executives to spike gasoline prices. But even after Biden drained the strategic petroleum reserve before the 2022 midterms and is now again doing the same as the 2024 election approaches, gas prices have averaged only one-third cheaper than under Trump.
Trump tried to top off the reserve but was blocked by Democrats in Congress. Nevertheless, he left Biden a nearly full reservoir of 638 million barrels (about 90 percent full), which Biden has now drained by some 270 million barrels to the present 51 percent full—and the levels are falling further as voting nears.
We are warned that 77-year-old Trump looks haggard after his long hours in court. He seems sleepy, we are told. He has aged terribly, the media tell us. But polls show that concern over Biden’s dementia greatly outweighs normal worry over septuagenarian candidate Trump.
Why would any sane pro-Biden handler bring up Trump’s supposed gait or occasional forgotten word when that only reminds the public of the contrast with Biden, whose speeches seem delivered in something other than English and whose transcripts must be heavily edited to airbrush away his incoherence?

You're overlooking the millions who want to be fooled, who are happy in their dangerous delusions. It is they who are the most dangerous of all. "A fool is more dangerous than a scoundrel."
You might have that backwards.
Trump’s “happy, mentally stable, and coherent” Memorial Day message:
Donald J. Trump
@realDonald Trump
Happy Memorial Day to All, including the Human Scum that is working so hard to destroy our Once Great Country, & to the Radical Left, Trump Hating Federal Judge in New York that presided over, get this, TWO separate trials, that awarded a woman, who I never met before (a quick handshake at a celebrity event, 25 years ago, doesn’t count!), 91 MILLION DOLLARS for “DEFAMATION.” She didn’t know when the so- called event took place sometime in the 1990’s never filed a police report, didn’t have to produce the “dress” that she threatened me with (it showed negative!), & sung my praises in the first half of her CNN Interview with Alison Cooper, but changed her tune in the second half Gee, I wonder why (UNDER APPEAL!)? The Rape charge was dropped by a jury! Or Arthur Engoron, the N.Y. State Wacko Judge who fined me almost 500 Million Dollars (UNDER APPEAL) for DOING NOTHING WRONG, used a Statute that has never been used before, gave me NO JURY, Mar-a-Lago at $18,000,000- Now for Merchan!

You're right. But many love it. They are called stupid people.
That's the last thing the Democrats want. Especially for Trump or any Republican to do it!
As Hanson says, they project onto Trump--and their adversaries in general--their own nefarious schemes and aims. As champions of the Party of Hate and Evil, they project hate and evil onto everyone who opposes them.
The one that has me scratching my head is the hysterical bleating “Imagine how awful it would be if Trump were President!” from people who are ignoring the fact he already has been. That’s a special sort of ignorance and I’m not sure how to deal with it.
ping
I don’t think logic works with people who are that ignorant.
Back in the 1970s, when I lived in Europe, Europeans were delighted and envious of American education, which, they proclaimed, focused on teaching students to think for themselves. "The more the student disagrees with the professor," they extolled, "the more delighted he is!"
Fast-forward to today.
Conformity is demanded. "Education" has become indoctrination. To think for oneself is anathema. Dissenting opinions are crushed.
Once treasured American education institutions have degenerated into crass hubs of low standards and intellectual and moral confusion.
This is part of the decadence of Western Civilization in America. All standards are lowered.
The great tragedy is the lowering of standards of education. The pursuit of truth--truth for its own sake--the utter foundation of Western Civilization, with all its priceless gifts--is abandoned, and by the very people to whom was entrusted this sacred duty.
I found your observations encouraging. I though the military had been packed with the hopelessly woke and incompetent.
He's one of the few people I perk up and watch when he appears on TV.
Absolutely.
That's why sane, honest, decent Americans MUST win control of the government ASAP.
And that's why the Democrats and their henchpersons are so desperate to control it at any cost. Do not underestimate them NOTHING is beyond them. They will stop at NOTHING.
The Democrats will employ fraud. That goes without saying. But that’s not the only trick on which they’re relying. You can be sure they’ll come up with something. They’re smart, and they’re creative. They have plans in the works. That’s for sure.
They are not afraid to kill to save their power.
Read Excellent Sheep from 2014, written by a Yale professor about Yale students. The successful candidates for Harvard, Yale, almost any medical school all are outstanding in any measure of general intelligence that can be devised (legacies and DEI excepted).
But in the current and rising generation they also share a characteristic which their very high IQs and adaption of sociability conceal, which is what the book is about.
THEY ARE EXTREME CONFORMISTS. They are, "excellent sheep".
At an early age, and partly because they are so smart, they are better than their other smart beings at scoping out what will please the teacher, and eventually the professor. These students have an unusually fine tuned sense of discovering what THEY want, and how to give them bucket loads of it.
The problem with this is their deficiency at problem solving when the pre-existing rules, the anterior probabilities if you will, are unspecified.
In military science, this gives us Iraq, or Afghanistan, or Gaza. In medicine, it gives us unswerving adherence to "guidelines", all of which require firm belief that the diagnosis given to one at the start of a shift or when first encountering a problem is correct.
I was taught to question the diagnosis - always. It was in fact beaten into me, until it eventually became routine. Ask a student now who tells you a patient has, say, pneumonia, "OK, how do you know?" and more often than not they don't understand the question.
The elite students don't have to be indoctrinated. They ALREADY KNOW what "they" want, how to give it, and that their place in the ruling class depends on it.
Well, admittedly they’re trying like heck to “woke” the military.
But if lamebrain Biden’s disaster at West Point is any indication, the cadets and the brass aint buying it.
What I see on the news is what a mess, a really BAD mess that Biden has made out out of things, yet much of the news talks about Biden being ahead in the ratings. How does that work? I see Biden as a total loser & believe me, I always vote.
The objective of this cabal is the destruction of the USA.
When that is understood, everything else makes sense.
It’s a religious catechism for them!
I would hastily add......we must regroup, fine tune our strategies to continually
bring to the left’s attention, every single thing Biden does that annoys THEM.
We have to rub it in.......remind them 24/7 they are stuck with a woeful idiot.
They wont ever vote for Trump.......but the next best
thing is to convince them to stay home on election day.
One would think so, except for the top 10% who are making money perhaps like never before.
