I worked at General Hospital for awhile when I lived in LA. I’m so glad I got the hall out of the cesspool of a city. I never knew Johnny but hear he was a really nice guy. They sure have had their share of actors dying recently. RIP, Johnny.
I figured it out a long time ago when a FRiend tplf me that he got cut very badly as he interrupted a couple of guys who were attempting to steal his corvette: If you are going to interrupt thieves, TAKE YOUR PISTOL (OR SHOTGUN) WHEN YOU LEAVE YOUR HOUSE!

Decent people must start thinking of defending one self and family at all costs. As the old saying goes “ better to be judged by twelve than carried by six”.
If approaching someone doing this, look for an overwatch. Specifically, circle around the outer perimeter and look for a guy doing security. Take them first.
the article states that the area in which the incident occurred is near the intersection of pico blvd and hope street (downtown near the convention center). looking at the intersection in google, it has store signs “vamos asistencia legal” and “unidos usa migratoria.” so one uneducated guess is that the perps were associated with a hispanic gang.
Downtown near the convention center? I’m so glad I passed on going to a convention there about ten years ago.
Pico Blvd was featured in the first Terminator film, where the Tech Noir bar was located and the Terminator made its first attempt to shoot Sarah. Kyle Reese: Come with me if you want to live.

Law and Order TV Crew Member Shot Dead
An NYPD spokesperson told PEOPLE the 31-year-old male crew member was sitting in his car on Henry Street in Brooklyn, New York, when a gunman opened the car door and shot the crew member multiple times in the head and neck.

A little girl got separated from her mother and was afraid so she went up to Mariska Hagerty for help, thinking she was a real police detective. Others in the filming wore NYPD badges, too. Hagerty ordered the filming shut down for about 20 minutes until real police could locate her mother.
