Hamas fired rockets at the Tel Aviv area on Sunday, marking the first time in four months that a barrage reached central Israel from Gaza, and emphasizing the importance of Israel’s fight against Hamas in its last stronghold.
According to Cumta, an app that publishes warnings from Israel’s Red Alert system, the rockets targeted areas north and west of Tel Aviv, including Petah Tikva and Herzliya Pituach, one of the wealthiest communities in Israel.

Hey, I thought they wanted a ceasefire? I guess Biden’s resupply of HAMAS was sufficient for them to resume fighting?
I’d rather see the tunnels flooded with pig fat. At least make the savages believe they are going to hell before they drown.
They want a cease-fire, but only for Israel.
לעזאזל עם חמאס
There are over 600 miles of tunnels last time I checked. Flooding was tried in the north (but not with sewage), rather with seawater. The ground became to unstable, and it was discontinued.
One tunnel alone runs 300 miles from the Israeli greenhouses just north of Gaza to the Hamas ‘greenhouses’ near Rafah. Its a steel lined tunnel 10-12 feet wide and 10 feet high. It has two main branches that run to the eastern Israeli-Gaza border, one of which was used for the 10/07 invasion.
Most tunnels are now either sealed with rapid expansion foam or are destroyed with explosives.
Bump
Send all of Hamas back to Hell from whence it came.
The hamas-sholes want the IDF to have a ceasefire.
Yup. As planned.
All the Elite-run countries wanted Israel to cease-fire. There is no leadership in Gaza to agree to a cease-fire and the Oligarchs know they can’t control Hamas. They just want to punish Israel to satisfy the narrative that only Israel is doing the bombing.
That's interesting. I recall speculating on FR months ago that flooding was probably feasible but might destabilize the earth, though I admitted ignorance. Another Freeper offered that the geology of Gaza was extremely permeable stone, and that's exactly what would happen. I countered that the IDF had access to the world's best experts.
Frankly I still do not care if they make Gaza uninhabitable for the next one thousand years.
Its actually a very nice piece of land with great beaches - it used to be a tourist hot spot. Just move all the paleos out to some spot in the Med. The deeper the better.

Barge the Gaza debris 20
miles offshore and build
them their own island.
Outlaw boats. Call it
Alcatrazistan.
Why build them anything - they’ll just turn it into a weapons factory, like they did the greenhouses the Israelis gave them. Dump enough of them into the Med and they will naturally make their own island. At no cost to US taxpayers.
