I think "was brutally honest with them" describes it best. I don't think President Trump went to speak at the Libertarian Convention to disrespect them, on the contrary, speaking at their convention was a show of respect.

And the idea that he was "mocking" them is absurd. He went there to win them over and made a very good attempt at it.

President Trump was awesome as usual!

He showed great courage and skill, in facing this semi-hostile crowd, and asking for their support.

That said, my respect for Libertarians has decreased, after witnessing tonight's event.

I normally give them credit for being highly informed , and knowledgeable of our Constitutional principles.

But, after seeing the negative reaction of some of the crowd-I have to ask: Do they not know what has been happening to President Trump, (show trials, deadly force raid exc...) , and the American people (i.e. J6 political prisoners)?

(I just don't get the ones that had hostile reaction , DJT is fighting the good fight, even if they don't agree on everything.)

Anyway- God Bless President Trump and his family, for literally putting everything on the line, to save this nation from the tyrants, and criminals, who are destroying it.

Trump is the ONLY ONE who can save this country.

(And the DS and their accomplices, know this. It is why they completely ignore the Constitution, and attack Trump any way they can. Everyone please keep he and his family in your prayers).

Jane! I just figured it out. Trump went to this event for a reason. Just not the reasons offered.

Let me explain.

People want leadership
People want economic prosperity to raise a family
People want safe neighborhoods
People want a country moving upward not spiraling down
People want a leader with the courage of his convictions who will act on those convictions
People want a leader who deals effectively on his own with the fallout of difficult choies.

President Trump was doing a compare contrast last night.Simply by showing up and giving a speech where there were no guarantees of a love fest, he demonstrated the very stark difference between true leadership and what we’ve been forced to endure under Biden.

People are starved for real leadership, for safety and security to raise a family. They want never ending wars to stop and a secure border on the home front. They want an economy that will enable them to prosper. Trump may have changed the minds of a few attendees last night, but just think what he demonstrated to the fence sitters across the nation who may have tuned in!

HowTrump handled covid:

Trump who mobilized medical ships on both coasts. He designated the Javits Center to help with hospital overflow. He met with truckers at the WH to get the supply chain moving again. He shut down air travel from China as NYC took forever to shut down mass transportation. Trump who tried to tell us it came from a lab in Wuhan but was called a racist. He met with box store CEOs. He gave daily briefings and faced questions from a hostile press every single day. He got ventilators manufactured in record time as the media blamed him for the prior administration leaving the cupboards bare. He expedited the push for a vaccine but never mandated it. He met with covid patients who were cured using hydrochloroquine and ivermectin which we now know works. It was the media who censored prominent virologists and doctors from Stanford, Harvard, etc. m rather than have a dialogue. It was It was the news media and democrats who undermined him every step of the way and totally misinformed the American people as they do with all things Trump. The people get it.

I concur.I remember every one of those things.
