responsibility of the person packing the luggage to make sure it’s protected. have these people never flown before? luggage handlers aren’t interested what’s in it they just are supposed to move them quick as possible.

When my mother gave me a crystal capped candy dish that she inherited from my grandmother, I wrapped that in several layers of bubble wrap, put it in a a box, and put it in my carry on padded by clothes.

It sits on my dining room buffet.

Never trust baggage handlers with precious things.

Golfers need a travel case, similar to ones for guitars, to protect their clubs.
