This British publication has to explain to its British readers that American blacks have their own dialect.
Anyone who listens to BBC or the British tv shows on PBS knows that British blacks speak English properly, simply from being expected to, and having better language schooling.
So there’s just no excuse for all the patronizing of ghettospeak in the U.S.
