Illinois seems to have had a lot of justice-impacted governors in the last few decades.
Lefties truly are insane.

What’s wrong with ‘criminal’?....................
The criminals are in charge, and they want the bad words only to be used for those who aren’t criminals.
“ What is the heck is the matter with all these people?”
1. There are FAR TOO MANY of them.
2. They can’t solve big problems so focus on irrelevant minutia.
3. Most of them are low IQ and can’t cut it in the real world.
That only works if the person actually was sentenced to jail.
What are the chances of that in IL?
Some other options are crook, thug, and, a personal favorite, miscreant. The last one just has more depth to it.
This is what happens when you have a branch of gov’t whose only job is to pass laws, and they want to “make their mark”.
All legislatures (Congress and the Senate especially), should be limited to to two-week sessions. Then send them home and let them have real jobs.
I’m still not accepting of the phony name “correctional facility” for a prison. Liked hoosegow or the pokey better.

What is a nice way to say inmate?
“Person who was convicted of a crime,” “person who is incarcerated,” “person convicted of a felony,” and “person seeking lawful status.”

Person or individual with justice system involvement; Person or individual impacted by the justice system; Person or individual affected by the justice system.
