It should be noted that the UK is in the process of OUTLAWING this crap for kids under 10 and also allowing parental opt-out for kids over 10, while most ‘backwards’ countries (think Africa and Russia) don’t allow any of this crap.

I read article about that, but article didn’t say about parental opt-out over 10 year olds.
