Western allies are taking too long to make key decisions on military support for Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Reuters in an exclusive interview in Kyiv on Monday.
He also said he was pushing partners to get more directly involved in the war by helping to intercept Russian missiles over Ukraine and allowing Kyiv to use Western weapons against enemy military equipment amassing near the border.
The call to accelerate aid and push so-called "red lines" of engagement in the conflict reflect the growing pressure Zelenskyy's forces are under along more than 1,000 km of front lines in the northeast, east and south of the country.

I wouldn't put it out of the realm of possibilities that Kiev might get a tactical nuke right up the nose for that.
Russia has already warned Germany that their capitol is not safe from attack.
I’m certainly no expert, but this my perception. Western allies want to win, with a “win” being defined in several ways. Those “ways” could include some version of Ukraine (most of it at least) remaining under the Zelensky “Pro-Western” government. While it’s important for the West to win, it’s not necessarily perceived as an existential threat to most Western nations, thus the lack of enthusiasm.
From the Russian point of view, Ukraine’s overtures to Western powers is seen as much more of an existential threat to Russia’s independence and dominance in the region. Thus - I think - Russia is willing to “up the ante” in the region in order to insure that Ukraine remains more under the influence of Russia than Western powers (mainly as a buffer to an expanding Euro-American alliance that puts Russia outside “The Club”.)
Biden is hoping Z can hold out until after the election. After that he will definitely commit American troops.
Not only did Biden give Zelensky total access to the US treasury (billions of our tax dollars)
now Zelensky is so emboldened and cocky, he selfishly demands control of US foreign policy.
Zelensky is bugging Biden to allow U.S missiles to strike inside Russia......
a move flagrantly opposed to US policy, amid fears it would widen the war.
Course vote-crazed Biden is considering it and is calculating
how many US voting blocs he can buy with that move.
Apparently Zelensky thinks he can get ALL of it.

I would hope the answer is no.
But there ARE things worth risking nuclear war over and a quandary is the many mixed opinions over what those things are and how to keep them without fighting a nuclear war.
I thought I saw earlier today on FR that the Russians offensive had stalled and they were talking massive casualties
