The prosecution’s 'star witness' Michael Cohen is back on the stand for a third day, as the court waits with bated breath to find out whether former President Donald Trump could testify himself.
He finally admitted under oath that he stole $60,000 from the Trump Organization by ‘grossing up’ payments for tax. Donald Trump was seen shaking his head as his former ‘fixer’ made the revelation, confirming he’s a common thief.
Cohen also dramatically revealed that he dealt with an apparent photo ‘extortion’ blackmail attempt involving the ex-president’s daughter, Tiffany.
Cohen admits he was handling Tiffany Trump ‘blackmail’ Blanche continues to press Cohen on other matters he was dealing with that coincided with the Stormy Daniels payoff.
This includes an apparent ‘extortion’ attempt involving the president’s daughter, Tiffany.
‘You agree with me, right, that you had a lot going on both in your personal life and with President Trump in those first two weeks of October?’ Blanche asked. Cohen agreed.
‘You recall on October 25th, you recall her communicating with you concerns about somebody trying to blackmail her?’ Blanche asked.
‘Yes sir,’ he replied. He handled it immediately, and spoke to David Pecker, Tiffany Trump, and others.

What is the relevance of the C-SPAN footage that the prosecution wants to admit into evidence? The corrupt judge has ruled that it is relevant, but Trump’s attorney won’t stipulate to it, arguing that it is hearsay (in a normal trial, the rules of evidence would require a sponsoring witness with knowledge of how it was photographed and what it represents) so there is something going on here.

This NY jury will say Cohen did not take enough.
Jury instructions: “If, after careful review of the evidence, the jury finds defendant’s first name is “Donald” and that his last name is “Trump,” then the jury must return a verdict of guilty on all counts.”
Not if he’s prosecuted. He’d better make sure Trump is found ‘guilty’....and it’s enough to keep him out of the WH.

There are two ways in which that might not be true. Nominally, normal course of events, reversal would not occur fast. But that is an extreme case of “justice delayed is justice denied” - so extreme that Trump could appeal all the way to SCOTUS, IMHO, on the basis that no lower court would take the appeal on a timely basis.It would be like allowing an execution to occur while the defendant is waiting for his appeal to be heard. Waging lawfare against the nominee of a major political party is no small thing.

I’m wondering if any of the jurors will be thinking “Well, even though there isn’t enough evidence about this case to declare Trump guilty - I just KNOW that he is guilty of something bad at some time, so....”
