Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he supported mass deportation of illegal immigrants because the numbers call for something dramatic.
Host Kristen Welker said, “If reelected, Donald Trump said he is willing to put migrant detention camps and to deport more than 11 million undocumented immigrants, and it would be the largest deportation plan in American history. Do you support that plan?”
Rubio said, “Eleven million, that was the number ten years ago. We’re talking upwards of 25 to 30 million.”
He continued, “The answer to your question is yes. We cannot absorb 25, 30 million people who entered this country illegally. What country on earth would tolerate that? We don’t even know who most of these people are. They’re talking about vetting them, vet what? They’re coming with nations that don’t have document systems.

Breitbart seems to think Rubio could be PDJT’s VP. Not ideal, but better than Tim Scott. Trump would have to change his official residence to NY or NJ, and there is time for that.
Probably hasn’t been as low as 11 million for at least 25 years. Well north of 40 million now.
That's the number that mindless lefties have been parroting since the 90s. I'm sure "comprehensive immigration reform" was next on her parrot list.
Pass legislation requiring that for purposes of apportionment, only citizens shall be counted in the Census. This will disincentivise democrats from leaving the borders wide open and rolling out the red carpet for illegals.
The most effective thing possible is to make giving any help to illegals, illegal. No SNAP card, no welfare, no rent, NOTHING. They will self deport.
Anyone in any organization, including government who give welfare of any sort should immediately face prison.
If they can get here they can get somewhere else.
Im aware he may be lying, playing a role right now but say what you will. That interview was glorious! The womsn kept list off a bunch of BS and he absolutely would not let her get away with anything. He didn’t accept her premise of anything. Master class of an interview. “You asked me about immigration, this isn’t immigration...this is an invasion!”
President Eisenhower’s Operation Wetback on a massive scale is the answer. It scared illegals so much back then they self reported.
Deported, not reported.
How? Is Trump leaving Florida?
Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for Returning veterans.
In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could surely do it today. If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wetback into your favorite search engine and confirm it for yourself.
Why, you might ask, can’t they do this today? Actually, the answer is quite simple. Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians looking for votes!
Jan. 20, 2025 inaguration speech. Trump turns it over to Rubio to shout at the top of his voice to overthrow the Cuban government. He does it in Spanish. If it works Rubio gets his executive experience as Cuba’s El Presidente. We can dream.
ONCE AGAIN, Trump cannot pick someone from Florida without losing the electoral votes AND Rubio is NOT an NBC AND most of us cannot unsee the homosexual foam pool parties.
And now we have 60+ million to deport. Serious, that’s a lot. Over 41,000 PER DAY over four years.
No, but if he chose a Floridian running mate, Trump would have to move to Bedminster NJ, Trump Tower, or elsewhere, in order to get the FLA electoral votes.
My solution would be give all illegal aliens two months to leave the country on their own. The ones that don’t leave and if they are picked up by the police or ice, they will have to pay $10,000 to leave the country. Any organizations that are still bringing people into the country will pay $10,000 each for everyone they bring in. if they come back through non-legal channels, the final will be $50,000. Make this a moneymaking operation.
Fine any employer $10k per head for employing illegals.
I don’t like the idea of the federal government rounding up people for any cause. What’s done is done. Now block all immigration until the ones that are here can assimilate. The next time they claim justification in rounding up people, it my be me and you.
