The former Republican governor of Ohio has said he believes there could be a secret plot underway that would see the Democrats replace Biden as the party's presidential candidate before November's election.
John Kasich, whose own half-hearted bid for the presidency in 2016 ended in failure, said he believes poor polling data coupled with Biden's poor performance at public speaking events has given Democrats a reason to look for alternative candidate.
Kasich, 72, made the assertions on Democrat-leaning MSNBC on Friday night.

I would love to see Klobuchar run. She would be unable to run for Senate re-election giving the conservative Royce White a much better chance. She would be destroyed by Trump plus we would have a great new Senator. Therefore, no chance of her being Biden’s replacement.

Once they have nominated a candidate. Should that candidate quit for any reason they can name a new one without a single vote being cast by anyone.
I have suspected this is the plan since I first heard about the rule change..

If you follow NYT/WaPo/NBCCBSABCPBS, or if you know any actual Democrats, itâs been apparent since Christmas 2022 that there is no support for Biden, and especially for Harris, anywhere inside the party.
I think Newsom/Whitmer is a done deal, and has been for quite a while.
Without any deeper chromosomal analysis than looking at the lengths of Mooch’s chromosome 23’s helices, how many thousands of US (veterinary?) labs would be up to the task of that discernment?
No years of Barry’s attempts to normalize LGBTQ+ have made the electorate prepared for the revealations of what the 45 admin was in reality, let alone alow them to to consider a potential tranny 47 admin atop thereof!

I don’t believe the dems choose as much as promote. I believe Biden had earned the slot with obedience and time-in-service but they didn’t really want him. They knew Trump was a lock for a second term and gave Joe the chance to run but everything went to hell with Covid and gave the dems the perfect opportunity to flood the country with mail-in ballots. Pretty sure they regret having Biden on the ticket but his deep state handlers have really taken advantage of their opportunity. Now the question is who has earned the chance to lose against Trump. Best choice would be to run Biden/Harris and be done with them. Spend the next four years grooming the candidate to succeed Trump’s VP in 2028.
Sigh. It’s not going to happen people. Joe is it and when he croaks Kamala Will be the new empty vessel the Obama/Soros will order around if somehow (election cheat) shit-for-brains wins.
Harris has no base of support in the party and is especially disliked by blacks.

Yes, she would have her canned “Mr. President, I am speaking... I am speaking” line at the ready, just like in her debate with Pence.
Pence clearly did not interrupt her any more than she did him. The media isolated the clip and used it as propaganda, showing a decisive-looking Harris with headlines like “Harris shuts down Pence.”
A debate with Trump would be more of the same. The viewing audience would hear a feckless, cackling, incoherent woman reciting DNC talking points. The tik-tok generation would read something entirely different.
The 2024 Democrat National Convention will resemble the 1936 Democrat National Convention that nominated FDR for a third term:
