I don’t think it was a failure of leadership. If you look at the video, Comer tried to stop it. The three women were acting like children. How does an adult handle that? Spank them? I thought Comer acted appropriately. What’s also interesting from the video is that other congressmen were whispering in his ear. What do you suppose they were whispering? Here is what I think they were whispering: “Just let them go at it.” These are three women who have no business being in the Congress. They did not do themselves any favors by exhibiting this spectacle. The best strategy was to let them make fools of themselves. Maybe their constituents will get a clue and vote them out. But if not, then at least they have marginalized themselves.
