Political commentator Alyssa Farah Griffin said Thursday on CNN’s coverage of former President Donald Trump’s business record trial that witness Michael Cohen after the defense lawyer Todd Blanche’s cross-examination.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “Michael Cohen says he never sought a job at the white house. Bryan Lanza here who worked on the 2016 campaign, says, that’s not true. He recalls Michael Cohen wanting to be White House council. We have some journalists on our panel here saying that’s not true. They were recalling Michael Cohen saying he was going to join the White House. He was very excited to do so.”
He asked, “Tell me, what do you think?”

Downright gobsmacked . . .
Will the jury ever hear that though? It proves Cohen is a pathological liar and cannot be trusted, so of course the judge won’t let it in.
According to other articles Cohen was confronted with this by the defense in todays cross-examination.
CC
AFG is not the sharpest tool in the shed, but she *is* a tool.
White House Council?

Wait...what?
spel-czech
It turns out they found Cohen tape over ,40 conversations with media without their knowledge. A total of 100 according to testimony today. Don’t know who the others were to.
“Anchor Jake Tapper” Now where have I heard that name..?
Well, being naive and stupid ARE requirements to work at CNN.
In retrospect, he may have been a better AG than what we got (Jeff Sessions).
Trump is terrible at hiring people.
I think I know why.
He hires people based on how convincingly they suck up to him. It's no more complicated than that.
Cohen was like a little puppy dog around Trump. He was his most faithful servant. So of course Trump hired him.
This is a serious, serious flaw in Donald Trump's leadership style.
I strongly suspect he's going to do that again when he takes office next January.
If any of those conversations occurred in Maryland then he committed a felony.
to he’ll with spell check lol
(Will the jury ever hear that though?)
I’m sure at least half of them go home and scour the news.
Last time he had a small enemies list that wanted to destroy him..This time around the list is pages and pages full of names and a lot of them republican names.....I think it will be a different way of doing things this time......
(Trump is terrible at hiring people.)
Unfortunately true but in Trumps defense I always saw it as being an outsider he relied on people he assumed wanted what was best for the country and knew their way around….He was unaware of how deep the swamp went and how many rinos there were swimming in it.
He’s a quick study, with hope and prayers that won’t happen again. Imagine what could have been had his hands not been tied by his own party.
