They aren’t stashing them anymore. They are putting them everywhere, anywhere, as many as they can!

When I was a programmer we used to call a program that had undergone umpteen modifications and revisions “spaghetti code”, you couldn’t make head or tail out of it.
The fix was to throw it in the garbage and start over with a clean sheet.
