Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) said Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Chris Jansing Reports” that former President Donald Trump can’t rely on cheering crowds at the upcoming presidential debate with President Joe Biden.
Host Stephanie Ruhle said, “There’s talk today about a presidential debate maybe as early as June. I know debates were important to you. They certainly got you a lot of momentum in 2012. Do you think they matter today? In many ways we know a lot about the two people running. do you think it will impact votes, maybe even your vote? ”

At least,PRESIDENT TRUMP had cheering crowds.

I totally agree that Trump is one of those guys - but I think he should be worried about the debates this time around - they will be unlike any we have seen. They will be outrageously unfair.
Everyone is expecting these debates to be like previous ones - where they are rigged, but at least there is a pretense of fairness.
I think this is wrong - they don’t care anymore how outrageous they look - everyone has gotten used to outrageous treatment of Trump. The impeachments were outrageous. Stealing the election was outrageous. The J6 frame up was outrageous. All the bogus indictments of Trump while giving the Biden crime family a pass is outrageous.
They are not going to care how outrageously unfair to Trump they are in the debates - people have come to expect outrageous and that is a change since the debates four years ago.
No matter how good he is at debating, I wish he would find a way to back out - like he backed out of the Republican primary debates - debates can’t help him they can not hurt him.
