You must be kidding. There is one group of people that were the biggest reason I stopped coaching youth sports years ago: single mothers.
It didn’t take me long to notice a pattern with the kids of these mothers that would scare away any normal, responsible adult:
1. Many of these kids were troublemakers — to the point of being incorrigible.
2. The willingness of these mothers to put their kids under the supervision of total strangers was both reckless and irresponsible.
3. Without even doing any research on the subject, I can guarantee you that the children of single mothers make up the vast majority of the victims of sex predators.
