No respect anymore. I had To sit through a 1.5 hour speech by Mario Cuomo when I graduated and as much as I disagreed It never even dawned on me to walk out.
Communists are extremely tolerant of everyone they agree with.

The walking out students should have their degrees suspended, no certificates issued. Maybe put a freeze on their transcripts pending disciplinary hearing in 10 years. Let’s see how they like that.
Withhold their transcripts and diplomas . . . for starters.
Hillsdale or nothing. There isn’t a big enough campaign to inform parents not to spend their money on public universities. And most private ones.
Back in the day...I checked the “will not attend” and received my stuff in the mail. Had their been a reason write in block, it woulda’ been Gone Fishin’ - some boreass was speaking and I was moving on quick.
Youngkin is a boreass... he’s more interested in building a big Stadium complex up in Northern Virginia. Calls it a money maker... Stadiums are traditionally money pits. He should fill pot holes instead. He can KMA.

I walked out of my son’s graduation when the previous Va governor spoke.
My son had beer back to his house.
When my daughter graduated in 1993,Bob Dole was the commencement speaker.
Many of the students had a picture of a pineapple on their gowns with a black mark through it. No one walked out.
I had one class to complete which I took at a college near home. That made my graduation the year after it was supposed to be. I wasn’t planning to attend anyway so this just solidified it.
My life is no less full for not going to graduation. It is far fuller for having gone to college. I married a girl that I met there.
Cancel their diplomas.
