Howard University has canceled their nursing graduation ceremony after family members began smashing windows and pounding on doors after being locked out due to the venue reaching full capacity.
Parents and family members of College of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences students crammed into the Cramton Auditorium in Washington, DC, on Thursday; however, some did not enter the building before the keynote speech abruptly ended the ceremony.

That’s exactly what her comment made me think of!
It’s graduation, a time for celebration and a solemn contemplation of the value of an education and the hard work that is behind it. Some cultures simply show their respect and veneration by burning, looting, and murdering. You racists.
I don’t blame the graduates; THEY’RE not the ones breaking windows. Their guests and relatives are the guilty ones. I’d want to fall through the floor if a relative of mine did something like that. We can hope the graduates were completely angered and embarrassed by their relative’s behavior. What a horrible representation of their race!

For most of the four years I worked in DC, I would use the Rhode Island Metro station, which is the close to Howard University.
I would “hear and see things” there.
I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if Diversity-Equity-Inclusion (DEI) was concocted to foist undeserving Howard escapees and their ilk onto the business world.
I don’t know why they just can’t say The Pledge of Allegiance (the Under God long version) sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and call it Miller Time. Just cut out all The Price Is Right stuff with the noisemakers and goofy T-shirts for the goofiest student award.

Didn’t attend my HS ceremony. Never regretted it. We went to the mountains instead.
Isn’t this the same school that cheered when OJ was found Not Guilty?

I’ve gone to my kids graduations, you can count the number of students on the Dean’s List with English-sounding names on one hand.
Even my high school graduation (class of 400) limited the number of tickets to 4 per student.
Attended a big high school event in Atlanta. It was fun picking out which ones would finish college and which ones would be selling 'em drugs. The louder the family screaming, the better chance that their individual's education stopped right there. They knew.
Poor planning on one side and lack of impulse control on the other. Good job fighting stereotypes.
