Denys Yaroslavskyi is angry.
...
“There was no first line of defence. We saw it. The Russians just walked in. They just walked in, without any mined fields” he says.
He shows me video from a drone feed taken a few days ago of small columns of Russian troops simply walking across the border, unopposed.
He says officials had claimed that defences were being built at huge cost, but in his view, those defences simply weren’t there. “Either it was an act of negligence, or corruption. It wasn’t a failure. It was a betrayal”.
Everyone knew that this incursion was likely to happen. Both Ukrainian and Western intelligence knew Russia had been building forces across the border – with estimates of it massing up to 30,000 troops.

Russia can't match the West's manufacturing capability. Say what?
Russia is getting all the washing machine circuit boards and shovels it needs from China, under the table.

The Russians simply walked into the grey zone - a strip of land no side can hold. This one was many km from the UKR main defense line.

Brainless?
Russia has one aircraft carrier, and I don’t think it can even fly helicopters, much less aircraft.
Does Russia even have a stealth aircraft? The -57 has what, ten built, and are any actually been used?
Sure, Russia has capacity, but their capabilities are on the very low end. Russia is known for butt loads of cheap crap, not high-tech advanced stuff.
Ukraine is a half-proxy war. We’ve given them a bit of help, but not very seriously (despite the massive amounts of wasted tax dollars), and what Ukraine really needs is more manpower, that’s trained on the fancy stuff. If NATO (these US) actually got seriously involved, Russia would be out in no time.

Russia has one aircraft carrier Who the hell cares? Has that made any difference whatsoever in the proxy war in Ukraine?
Gee, that's proof that Russia isn't planning to invade this country?!

Um, the Admiral Kutsnetsov(?) You know, the one that runs on coal, needs a tugboat to accompany it on deployments outside the harbor, caught on fire a couple times? They do still have it, right?

Um, Ukraine is irrelevant here, Russia can't even get their carrier anywhere near Ukraine. You said Russia has better manufacturing capability than these US. Russia can barely build obsolete vehicles, nothing compared to US technology. We definitely have much better capabilities than y'all. It's not even a contest.
What is proof that Russia isn't planning to invade which country? What does that have to to with manufacturing capacity or capability?
