So the IRS took its new Biden-driven tax dispute with Trump just before the election. Jeez, wonder what is driving this. Of course this can and will go to tax court and Trump could come out clean, but that will be after the election has happened.

Decades ago, I created a local cable access program, "Video Games Report", and asked video game companies for free game units and cartridges, promising a "potential audience" of 350,000 viewers. I would be surprised if 300 people watched the show, but I received thousands of dollars of freebies just using long distance phone calls and a Selectric typewriter to make fake letterhead (pre-laser days). The word "POTENTIAL" canceled out everything else.

(I parlayed that into a job writing reviews for mass-circulation magazines, so it wasn't a total loss for most of those companies.)
