Article doesn't mention the minimum wage hike, but nobody is going want to pay much for their awful food.

I remember when hamburgers were 25 cents.

Good, McDonald’s has become too expensive with their $25 meals. Taco Bell’s $5 boxes are now $10 and more.

I don’t understand a franchise setting a set amount for the nation. For example, $5 meals might lose money in McDonald’s in Manhattan and might ought to be $8 or so. While they might could sell more in low cost of living areas if it was a $4 meal.

And their coffee has changed too...I used to like it. Much smoother than Starbucks. It was awhile back though.

“I remember when hamburgers were 25 cents.”

Me too. But that 25 cents was about ninety percent silver.

I like McDonalds, hope they can restructure to have affordable price. Burger King does, Taco Bell is still affordable.

Besides, they are not Five Guys, so bad to price like they are.

I get the McChicken, apple pie, and large Diet coke for $5.60 including tax.

Or I get the McDouble, Apple Pie, and Large Diet coke for $6.00.

Sometimes I’ll just get the Apple Pie and Large Diet Coke for $3.05 as desert.

I personally think McDonald’s should offer a small, cheap hamburger. To keep the cost down, use low-quality meat and day-old bread. No cheese, No condiments.

Call it a BidenBurger.

And of course put this image on every wrapper:

>> $5 meals might lose money in McDonald’s in Manhattan

Maybe in Manhattan they’ll be a few fries short of a value meal.

(Come to think of it, that describes the mental acuity of one who would choose to live in Manhattan!)
