As I was saying in reveance o my ancestor who had to deal with the carnage your confederate ancestors created. Admit reb, your a Democrat.

As I can say in reverence of my ancestors who had to deal with the carnage your Yankee aggressor ancestors created. If this were the 19th century, I would vote for the party that supported states' rights, limited government, balanced budgets and staying out of foreign wars. That would have made me a Democrat - ie the Conservative Party - in the 19th century. Things changed later and now its the Republicans who are the Conservative Party. I'll vote for my beliefs whatever party supports them. If the parties switched places again, I'd switch my vote.

Again you and your revisionism. The South opened the ball, it shore batteries opened fire n Ft. Sumter. It invaded Maryland and Pennsylvania.

Armies through out history have not waged wars half way.It avails only disaster ten fold.

The Confederacy instigated a war it had every intention of winning and lost it’s gambit.

Ponder this question : If The South had won the war would it have freed the slaves? Yes or no?
