Actress Mia Farrow took to social media on Wednesday to declare porn star Stormy Daniels “a strong woman who may not want to appear to be weak or a victim” while she testifies against former President Donald Trump.
“Stormy is a strong woman who may not want to appear to be weak or a victim,” Farrow wrote in an X post, adding, “but what she described seemed very like a sexual assault.”

She made 1 movie anybody ever heard of 50 years ago because she banged the director who was also a child rapist.

Throughout history, from ancient Rome, to the Ottoman Empire to Third Republic France - society’s view on the line between actress and prostitute was very blurred.
Somehow, in 20th century America, female actresses were able to escape such strict judgement.
I balk at calling Daniels a “film star.” These are not old time films with plots and characters and so on. They are described as sex scenes with some excuse to show them. I’ve never seen one, I admit. Even the 1970s-80s had actual films with plots. Flimsy ones like the satire in The Big Lebowski of the cable guy seeing the naked woman visiting. “You can guess what happens next.” Lebowski: “She got the cable fixed?”
Technically, one could make an argument that being paid by the pornographer for her to have sex acts with a man she has never met who is about to come into the motel room set in front of cameras is more prostitution than starring in a film.
