A judge in Arizona has denied a motion that would have lifted the suspension of twenty students arrested last week amid anti-Israel protests.
The U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona denied the Arizona State University students' motion to have their college suspensions lifted on Friday, according to local outlet ABC 15.
The defendants filed the lawsuit against the Arizona Board of Regents on Tuesday, alleging that their suspension from ASU is causing "irreparable harm" due to their inability to enroll in classes.

Judge John Tuchi ruled that the students did not provide sufficient evidence that their First Amendment rights had been violated.
He also ruled that there was insufficient evidence that the university's suspension of students was causing "irreparable harm." The trespassing charges at the heart of the lawsuit have yet to be brought to court.

BTTT:
It appears the judge is teaching the students something they should have learned long ago. Actions - - -> consequences.
And here is an article by Jonathan Turley on the same subject.
“Actions have Consequences; Dartmounth Jewish Studies Professor Arrested at Pro-Palestinian Protest”
We ARE talking about a generation where there are no consequences for bad actions going back to when they were babies.
This is the generation of participation trophy’s...
Everybody ties so no one cries..
and so on..
Quite probably, for the first time in their lives, they are being held accountable for their actions and they literally, not figuratively, but literally have no idea how to handle it and makes no sense to them since they’ve never encountered the situation before.
I personally think they ought to get the consequences, good and hard..
YMMV
“We ARE talking about a generation where there are no consequences for bad actions going back to when they were babies.”
That’s exactly the problem. And for those of us who grew up with rules and boundaries set, and punishments assured for violating the rules or stepping outside those set boundaries, it is rather gratifying to see some of them finally learning those badly needed lessons.
That'll blow your hair back...
Imam Hossein University will welcome their applications.
Columbia U. 1968
They enrolled in the university...They didn’t enroll in protests...
My thoughts as well. Clearly, a generation that has never have the privilege of hearing the sound of a belt flying through belt loops and having the “board of education well applied to the seat of learning,” as it were.
It’s long past due that these coddled, spoiled, brats learn that there are consequences to their actions. Good on the judge.
the KKK Democrats messed around and found out!
these morons need to study abroad in gaza!
Iran is offering scholarships!
Will probably fly them there
One of the most frightening words when I was in school.
GO TO THE PRINCIPALS OFFICE, NOW!
The other one, in front of my first grade class. Teacher saying,
“come here and lay across my lap”.
And that was for eating a friend’s cookie.
5th grade, ruler slap on my hand for drawing.
“alleging that their suspension from ASU is causing “irreparable harm” due to their inability to enroll in classes”
yeah, well suspension will do that ... so, lesson, don’t do shite that gets you suspended ...
Boo-hoo.
The “No Consequences” generation was the main topic of discussion at breakfast this morning.
Go after the parents. as well. If it’s good enough for a kid misusing a gun, it’s good enough for these punks.
I don’t like the new rules, but those are the rules the left wants to play by.
NO SUPERVISION +
