Activists in Missouri say their proposed amendment to enshrine the right to abortion in the state constitution has enough signatures to appear on the ballot.
Missourians for Constitutional Freedom said on Friday that it collected 380,000 signatures β far past the 172,000 needed to qualify β and delivered the signatures to the Missouri Secretary of State for approval. The group needed to submit signatures by May 5.
π’ In just three months, 380k+ Missourians from every corner of our state have signed the petition to end the abortion ban! Today, we delivered those signatures to the Secretary of State. Help us put abortion rights on the ballot: https://t.co/1PoIPxOYey #EndTheBanMO pic.twitter.com/4OzczJQURb

And the hits keep coming. Florida, Missouri, Arizona, Nevada. Just great. Even if they donβt pass, we may lose state or congress seats over it.
I’ve figured it out. People would rather have the most liberal abortion policy instead of the most strict abortion policy. In other words, there is no choice in the middle.
This has been borne out in the states (Ohio) which have passed referendums to allow ALL abortions instead of none of them.
As long as it remains a state issue, I’ll accept the results. States already decide who lives and who dies.
Our nation has a blood lust. God will not be mocked.
Missouri the next domino to fall?
You can be sure the language of the bill is very deceptive and many who vote for it will not get just how all encompassing that “right” to abortion will become. If the bill’s authors and supporters weren’t hypocrites they would be honest and make sure the language did not limit abortion up to birth but after birth as well, say the first 3 months at least.
It will be a grim day when it comes.
Maybe the MO SOS should closely scrutinize the signatures collected. After all, the demo-commies frequently use that technique to claim not enough truly valid signatures were collected, so turn-about is fair play.
