Genocide as a word and internationally accepted concept did not exist before 1944. It was specifically created to describe how the Nazis sought to eliminate the entirety of the Jewish population in Europe. Resting on that singular historical example, the United Nations Office to Prevent Genocide defines this crime as any acts committed with the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial, or religious group.
This narrow definition under international law consists of two principal prerequisites: intent and a specific group’s physical destruction. This was certainly the case when Hitler almost entirely exterminated European Jewry and when the Hutu government massacred Rwanda’s Tutsi population in 1994.
Currently, there are politically motivated and rhetorically irresponsible charges of genocide leveled at Israel. These disingenuous accusations are a weapon of war that terrorist groups such as Hamas and its allies are using to achieve strategic political victory in the struggle for universal information dominance. Israel’s actions in Gaza were a response to Hamas’s October 7. 2023 assault against a mostly defenseless civilian population. Consequently, it seems incongruent that anyone is granting credibility to these anti-Israel charges of genocide rather than seeing them as pure antisemitism.
It's not just Israel’s open foes that claimed that Israel’s military operations have inflicted disproportionate damage upon Gaza’s civilian population. Even those who acknowledge her right to self-defense have chimed in. And while the Western media obscure Israel’s efforts to show accurately the scope of Hamas’s atrocities against Israeli civilians on October 7, these same outlets lovingly portray Hamas’s inflated civilian death numbers for Gaza.

The so-called "Palestinians" are simply Syrian and Jordanian trouble-makers who were kicked out of those countries for following the paramilitary leadership of Yasser Arafat (a native of Egypt) in the 1960s. They then fled to Lebanon and committed the Munich Olympics massacre of 11 Israeli athletes.
After that, Arafat aligned the PLO with Lebanese rebels during their civil war in the late 1970s until Arafat was finally expelled from Lebanon in 1982.
Arafat then settled in Tunisia. After a failed assassination attempt, Arafat relocated his headquarters in Iraq. After Arafat sided with Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, other Arab nations cut off funding of Arafat and the PLO. After Arafat signed the 1993 Oslo Accords, he relocated to the Gaza Strip.
The point of all this is that the so-called "Palestinians" are really the descendants of cast-off radicals from Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia, and Iraq. Is it really "genocide" if these people are defeated in the continuous wars that they began, when the nations of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia and Iraq are still around?

Let’s say you have 2 countries A and B. Country A is populated by 100% whites. Country B is populated by 100% blacks. Country B starts a war, and begins to lose badly as country A is killing country B’s soldiers left and right. Suddenly, country B comes out and says it’s a genocide, as “Country A is only interested in killing black people! They’re trying to kill all the black people in the world!” See how that works? That’s the same thing that’s happening here.
War crimes are a stupid concept in the first place. Why did Germans get punished and hanged, but not the Japs? How about the Aussies, who would cut the ears off of Japanese soldiers and make necklaces of them.
With my opinion out of the way, I can say that Israel is free to do as they please. IMO.. Just like America should be free to do the same to enemies. We either defend ourselves from all enemies, or WE deserve to die.
From the river to the sea, Israel cleanse it of your enemy.
We here on FR who think, know that it will not be 20 years before terror attacks on our soil will be as ubiquitous as drunk driving deaths are now.

The irony is that Hamas has repeatedly and publicly assured the world that it intends to carry out a genocide not only against the Jews in Israel, but all Jews regardless of where they reside. It is clearly stated in their charter adopted in 1988, but removed from their charter as revised in 2017. However, even their revised charter declares they shall occupy the land from the river to the sea. (That’s from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean for those in Rio Linda or with degrees from Columbia.) When asked, the Palestinians still insist they will not cohabitate with Jews in their own state, nor could they tolerate a Jewish state next to theirs. They universally reject a two state solution.
