A fundraiser to throw a “rager” for the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill frat brothers who protected the Stars and Stripes from an anti-Israel mob this week has raised an eye-watering $400,000.
And billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman is a fan — donating $10,000 to the cause.
The GoFundMe contribution — spotted Wednesday night by an eagle-eyed X user — will help throw the patriotic pack of Pi Kappa Phi members “the party they deserve,” according to a description on the fundraising site.

That’s a lot of beer. They could create a rager endowment fund. Put it into money markets earning 5% that’s $20,000 a year in gains - it could fund many parties over the next many years without tapping into the principle. Heck, they could buy their own bar!
While these guys deserve praise and recognition, I hope they donate the $$ to charity or something similar
A gofundme for a drunken frat-party is not the best image for them, and certainly not a proper motivation to protect the US flag.
If these frat boys are smart, they’ll donate the money to a vet support groups like tunnels for towers or such who sacrificed so much more. That would be a PR coup for them.
I saw on X John Rich (I guess he is a popular country singer?) said he would do a free concert for them and called on other entertainers to do the same.
I love this! Fine young men! ‘Murica!!!!
Ha!! I love it.
I remember John Rich as part of “Big & Rich” in the early 2000’s. Look up their “8th of November” music video. Warning: It’s a tearjerker.
Maybe the funds must used as the fundraiser states? If so, then expect a big, patriotic concert with live music.
“Warning: It’s a tearjerker.”
Well, I watched the video. Tear jerker is an understatement.
Kid Rock should do a concert there for free.
Love it!
The Great Replacement is not just a conspiracy theory. It’s really happening. They took down the U.S. flag and replaced it with a Palestinian flag.
I hate to rain on the parade, but I’ll wager most of these young patriots are under 21...
I doubt Bud Lite will be a supplier knowing how delicate their brand is now. Too Bad So Sad.
When I was an Instructor at UNC Chapel Hill back in 1987-88, the parties were epic. National Bohemian and Natural Lite seemed to have the adult beverage market locked up.
