I read where the Russians are replacing the French in Africa. Or displacing.
When you have nothing to offer, folks don’t want you around.
The French have been running what amounts to a colonial empire in north/central Africa, comprising several African nations, for years and years. The French have military bases there and control the economies by controlling the currencies, banking deposits, etcetera.
(France is still a BIG TIME colonial power, under disguise but it is wide-spread)
Now the Russians are moving into the area. First to go: USA forces. It would not be surprising if the French get kicked out too..
Another foreign policy success from the ignorant asses in DC.
What special operation was the US running in Chad?
Why? Why? Why?
Did the US ever need to station troops in Chad?
It’s a case of a hammer looking for a nail.
So...America has surrendered again.
What puzzles me - why are the states of the Sahel in Africa choosing Russia and China en masse, and kicking out the USA and France?
They can offer money, we can offer money
they can offer payoffs, we can offer payoffs
They can offer weapons, we can offer weapons
They can offer military training, we can offer military training
They can offer travel, passports, and offshore banks, we can offer travel, passports and offshore banks
There is something else there which is unclear - perhaps Western involvement necessarily comes with other attachments and requirements - which are NOT interesting to these leaders in Africa?
Biden retreating again...way to project weakness diaper Joe
Biden has brought so much of the world’s respect back the US, we’re getting kicked out of these half pint countries and being replaced bybRussia and/or China. Nice work, Brandon.
If we were making life better in Chad, this wouldn’t be happening.

The U.S. military has successfully completed the evacuation of the American embassy in war-torn Sudan, President Joe Biden said late Saturday evening.
Biden confirmed the evacuation of U.S. government personnel from Khartoum and that the administration would continue to assist Americans in Sudan....
I was thinking Chad was that nation ‘declared’ in Seattle. Oops!
