A jailed pro-lifer who was held in prolonged solitary confinement last fall suffered a stroke while awaiting sentencing in May.
LifeSiteNews was notified today that Heather Idoni, a defendant in the Washington, D.C. FACE (Freedom to Access Clinic Entrances) Act trials, was rushed to the hospital this week after suffering a stroke while being held at Northern Neck Regional Jail in Virginia. She is reportedly stabilized and will be taken back into custody to await sentencing on May 17.
Idoni and eight other pro-lifers have been charged by the Department of Justice with violating the pro-abortion FACE Act and “conspiracy against rights” for peaceful civil disobedience in a traditional pro-life rescue at a late term-abortion facility in Washington, D.C., in October 2020.
...Then they came for the “pro-lifers”...

She spent 22 days in solitary...wait for it...for sharing her food with other prisoners.
She faces, essentially, a life sentence for peacefully protesting the murder of in utero babies.
The Xiden regime has weaponized the F.A.C.E. Act to crush the ProLife community, while ignoring the destruction, vandalism and violence against ProLife pregnancy centers and ProLife advocates, which accounts for 99.9% of violations of the F.A.C.E. Act.
This pogrom against the ProLife community is being headed by Kristin Clarke, Assistant AG in the DOJ.

Now had she been a college age rioter wearing an Arab head scarf and breaking a window to force a door open to illegally enter and occupy a locked campus building to trash the place and then chant for deaths to Jews and death to America.....she would have been fine with the authorities for a long time. The Supreme Court has on three occasions rejected challenges to the Face Act since the law was inacted in the early 1990s. Bills in Congress to repeal the Face Act has received little support.
