Dramatic photos show the massive tent city set up by anti-Israel protesters on Columbia University’s iconic lawn completely cleared Wednesday after police stormed the campus and arrested members of a pro-terror mob.
Not a single tent was left standing on the Manhattan Ivy League school’s West Lawn next to Butler Library in the wake of the NYPD’s response to a violent occupation of nearby Hamilton Hall Tuesday night, photos reveal.
Instead of rows of tents, grass from the university’s once-green lawn could be seen checkered with faded yellowish rectangles where the structures had been pitched.
Trampled brown grass could be seen between the rows of cleared-out tents, where hundreds of demonstrators had congregated.

They still think mom will come into the bedroom and pick up everything, do the laundry, vac the floor and clean the windows for them.
And colleges are “in loco parentis.” Some really loco ones.
When dogs (Read: Protesters) urinate on the lawn it always turns yellow then dies.
This has exposed an important fracture in the Democrat coalition.
Will the GOP have the wit, and the spine, to exploit it?

Finally, Columbia can get back to its important, regular activities of hating on cops, supporting the intel deep-state, promoting transsexualism, and having woke women haul mattresses around campus to protest white male rape culture.

Nope, all of that once “in loco parentis” ( IN THE PLACE OF PARENTS ), went out many decades ago. Now, colleges and universities do NOT send student grades home to parents, so many have NO idea how their little darlings are doing.
I see a lot of destruction to the lawn, over $1,000 that is FELONY mischief
I remember the mid 1960’s at U of Chicago. They redid the lawns in the main quad and pitched little signs everywhere reading “I vant to be a lawn,” ala Garbo.

Fracture? This stuff is a FEATURE of the Democrat coalition. They all work together, even when it appears the do not. Hence, solidarity always on important votes in the Senate and the House.
I remember. I was stretching it to create a more abusive and hostile satire. One of my fortes.
