I had those every spring in the last house! They’re called something.....they’re nested somewhere and come to life every spring. Cluster flies! That’s what they’re called. I had tons of them for a week or so every spring....big black flies, and slow to move as well. Check it out.

I will look them up, good to have a name. Hopefully I will find out how to get rid of them. It's always something with house ownership! :D
