Jimmy Carter can go to his grave smiling he wasn’t the worst. Obama was in fact worse than Carter but it was hard to tell with media cover up.
LBJ and Woodrow Wilson were worse than Carter, much worse.
The most recent rating of Presidents by academic “experts” has JFK at #8, Reagan at #9, Obama at #10, Carter at #26, George W. Bush at #29, Nixon at #31, and Trump at #41 (with only Franklin Pierce, Andrew Johnson and James Buchanan below him). Only 44 because Cleveland is counted only once. Carter is the only post-1900 Democrat in the bottom half of the list.
