Reminiscent of another Polish hero, Irena Sendler. More worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize than Al Gore
Finally! I hope they do her justice. Reading her book, ‘In My Hands’ changed me, and she has been a HERO to me ever since.
Highly recommended! Read the book before the movie comes out - in case they screw it up. ;)

The only IDIOTS that have ‘Holocaust fatigue’ are the dumbed-down generation behind me who have no idea how awful human beings can be to one another - or who choose to IGNORE that FACT.
Finished the article - sounds like they did her life justice. I’ll have to get it on video if I can - it won’t be playing in Cow Town, I’m sure. (Not for any nefarious reasons!) ;)
The DVD is due for release in June. I will be getting this.

I don’t quite know how to best describe this story. Amazing. Uplifting. Inspiring.
Thanks for posting.
I liked the movie. Thought it was well done and thought provoking.
Which is probably why it hasn’t done well. Almost no modern Americans go to a movie in hopes of “thinking”.
Sadly, much of the Soviet & Nazi mindset is taking deep root in American culture. As witnessed by the on campus support of Hamas.
Holocaust? Well, Mrs rktman’s kin were placed in a naughtZee relocation camp. Her grandmother, her mother who was 2, aunt was 9, uncle was 6 at the time. She gets a tad PO’d when she hears deniers.
For later.

Some pampered folks claiming thT. They have “Holocaust fatigue” is like debbie wasserman schultz who has 3 square meals a day, every day, paid for by taxpayers no less, complaining that they are starving because they didn’t get a third martini with their meal” (Debbie actually claimed she and her staff were “starving to death” because congress shut down and they couldn’t eat at their usual posh resteraunt during that time) the pampered don’t know what fatigue is... jews were so emaciated, starved, brutalized and fatigued that they died from it. People claiming “fatigue” wouldn’t know fatigue if it bit them In their fertilizer factory
Right you are. The Nazis got the ball rolling back in the early 1930s by demonizing the Jews. Jew=bad. We are seeing the exact same thing on American campuses today.
It’s sad how few “enlightened” liberals are speaking out against this. Some are probably secretly in agreement with the Hamas supporters. The rest are just cowards.
Lived among people with numbers on their arms….
I remember one man giving me a knowing smile.
I understand it is an amazing story and well done film. I will watch it when available.
I am more worthy of a Nobel Peace Prize than Al Gore.
Very well put, except that it isn't only in America. Far too few of our contemporaries appear willing to think.
I’ll repeat what I’ve often said and the persecution of the J6 protestors. It’s a deliberate action to intimidate us into silence.
Irena Gut found factory work her second day in the United States. “And I was alone, without money, family, marketable skills, not one word of English. But one thing I did have. I was free. And America did not owe me anything. I owed America. She adopted me.
In another scene, equally as horrifying but much colder, Rokita explicates how genocide works, how the Nazis groomed Jews and bystanders. Nazis began small. “No one is going to revolt over a sign,” like “No Jews allowed.” But of course that sign is just the first step. “The circle constricts a little more. They get used to obeying. To being pliable. We use them up till there is nothing left.”
