FIRST CITY IN CANADA TO REQUIRE A QR CODE, TO EXIT THE CITY.
îles de la Madeleine, Québec. Island of Madeleine, QC
What if you do not have a QR code? Do you never get to leave the city?
That’s the plan. For now, it’s the soft-sell and light enforcement with a wink, but it won’t stay that way forever. They need it securely in place before they bring down the hammer.
Iles de la Madeleines is a group of small islands controlled by Quebec but are actually closer to Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island.
It is still a proposal, and is also part of a tax on tourists.
No English language coverage - what a surprise ! The English media in Canada tries to demean any opposition to these sorts of tyrannical measures as a “conspiracy theory”.
But for what purpose?
The purpose of the QR code, as practiced in China, is to track you and give you permission to travel or not. Everything they are proposing along these lines in the west are soft-sells towards that same eventual purpose.
In a video I saw, when you scan your phone, the entire screen either lights up in green or red in accordance to your permission to go through that gate and can be seen from a distance so an officer doesn’t have to be right next to you.
I think the long-term is locking everybody in so they can round us up at their leisure to reduce the population to between 500 million and a billion.
Elect the Insane you get Insanity
Exactly.
Escape From New France
I watched the English translation running the video at 1/2 speed. The woman did a good job questioning the jerk on the counsel. Ha - supposedly to better understand tourism volume. She correctly pointed out China.

It says that, for your convenience, you can have the QR code implanted on the back of your right hand, or, if you prefer, placed directly on your forehead.
/s (but someday, it won’t be)
Personally, I think we should invade canada again and convert them to Christianity.
It’s an island and can only support so many people.
They want to make sure it doesn’t tip over.

LOL!!!
Someone gave me their understanding that it’s a program where you are charged a tourism fee for visiting a set of islands, so the code/ID is to prove that you are a resident and therefore do not have to pay the fee.
If that is true, it’s a little less dire.
The stated purpose is never the purpose.
I finally have a goal.
I want to be the cause of the complete extinction of all mankind.
