the makeup of the jurors - who include a corporate lawyer, an investment banker, a software engineer and a teacher - suggest Trump will fare poorly.

Wouldn’t these people be better prepared to evaluate the evidence and assist in deliberations to sway iffy jurors? Also aren’t they about as close to being peers unless you would have former living presidents in the jury?

These are NOT ordinary people...they are educated and deal with "steering" people every day. Are they corporate attorneys?? or everyday "mom and pop" attorneys?

The clue in all this is that they more likely than not read the New York Times...and that's not to read "good news" about Trump.
