James was in court this week and has a rap sheet dating back to 2003 that includes drug-related and other petty crimes and has served time in jail
If someone can provide evidence that the parent played a role in the ultimate outcome of their child's behavior as an adult, then I will change my position. I've known many good parents fail with their children, however, in the end their children righted themselves, in large part because of what their parents had instilled within them growing up. Some still continue down their destructive path. Others were actually led astray by their parents.
Right now, I do not know which role model Mike presented, or perhaps his wife.
I tried hard to excuse Mike in the beginning, but , he has changed my view of him, and it may extend to his parenting as well. But I haven't gone there yet on that aspect of him.
