The concept of tolling drivers entering the state of Massachusetts has angered some Americans - including local politicians.
New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu, 49, was among those to speak out, after the idea was floated last week by Bay State Transportation Secretary Monica Tibbits-Nutt.
The Republican slammed the prospective guidance as ' yet another way to unnecessarily take [citizens'] money,' this time by taxing them at the state border.

This would hit all those hypocrite libs who moved to NH to avoid Massachusetts taxes, but commute to the Boston beltways.
When I looked a the photo with the LEO, dressed as the “Gestapo”, I thought “how apropos”!
The Minute Men?
How about a toll to keep people from Massachusetts from getting out
Monica Tibbits-Nutt another member of the Green/Climate Cult ?
Texas requires a license to carry. I thought it was a right to carry state.
Yes, a long time ago. The first significant defeats of the British in the revolutionary war.
We have tolls in NH too. People from New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and many other states passing through NH on the way to Maine get to help pay for the roads.
Isn’t this a violation of the interstate commerce clause of the Constitution?
When Monica Tibbits-Nutt moves house does she use a peddle bike or a truck ?
The only reason to go to Assholechusetts is if you have terminal diarrhea.
There are plenty of state liquor stores not on the freeways that can be easily accessed. The ones like Hampton and Portsmouth on I-95 are pure tourist traps. NH has no income or sales tax and so tolls are certainly a revenue source but it’s nothing like MA where every single thing in your life is taxed.
“Has anything good ever come out of Massachusetts?”
John Adams and me, but that’s about it.
It’s not required in Texas, but it is optional, and especially attractive for those who travel to non-free states that require a license or permit.
You don’t need a license in Texas, but a lot of people still get one so they can carry in reciprocal states.
As an Oregonian, a $1000 fee for Californians to enter Oregon sounds great.
That’s what I was referring to.
Believe me, I know that well!
But the state booze shops are especially positioned to lure MA buyers. And does MA still have its blue laws? If so, their Sunday MA biz is still the biggest.
“Sin taxes” as NH was known to run on, though now more on property and passive income taxes.
Live free or pay, suckers!
Okay, If they want to do this it is their choice.
I have been to Massachusetts many times. This is fine with me, I have NO interest in ever going back to that lib shithole.
Is that a tranny?
