Reports I read said that Iraina S-200 anti-aircraft missile batteries were struck, but the newer S-300 batteries next door were untouched.
Sounds to me like the Israelis were showing that they can take out Iranian assets, but didn't take out something so valuable that it would warrant yet another counterstrike by Iran.

As a side note,Russia’s newest available is the S-500, initially supposed to be in production by 2014.
The “newer” S-300’s are probably only slightly less obsolete as the S-200’s.
