Sen. Rand Paul has directed a stern warning at former President Trump, cautioning that his continued backing of Speaker Johnson could alienate a significant portion of his base.
“If Trump supports this monstrous, unpaid for foreign aid debt buster, he will lose the very supporters who comprise his vanguard. Mark my words,” Sen. Rand Paul warned.

It’s easy for you to play perfect, while Trump is taking everything that is thrown at him for thevUS.
That’s why they hate Trump the most.
We have to hope that Trump gets in, and tares it apart.
>>Do you think Trump cares? He didn’t get where he is by being conservative.
And where IS Trump and how exactly did he get there?
Trump has been, for the past 8 years, the leader of the most consequential political movement the country has seen in at least the last 50 years, at least. He’s been a victim of the deep state’s wrath that entire time, and yet is more popular now than ever.
And how did he get there? He got where he is by knowing how to see the big picture, thinking strategically and knowing when to strike. He didn’t get to where he is today by being a Ted Cruz or a Rand Paul - two purists who have very poor records on actual accomplishments.
Oh please. Every bill that passes becomes a nuclear threat. And three days later, it’s over and on to the next thing. If anyone will lose republican seats, it’s Rand Paul with his social security chit chat. Doesn’t matter if he’s right. It’s a terrible message he brings before an election.
It IS sad.
Well said.
I predict in a couple years we’ll find Jeff Sessions and Mike Pence are advising Johnson.
This keeps happening, and it’s completely on one side.
This Mike Johnson guy turned out to be a bit of weasel, didn’t he?
cowboyusa and Johnson should go to Ukraine because at least they still believe in it's border.
You wanna send Trump to Ukraine, also. It’s easy to sit and type while President Trump is being railroaded for trying to save the country. And you guys are turning on him
Discusting
Johnson turned out to be a replacement Paul Ryan, but then so was McCarthy.
I care about our border. We will have no border unless President Trump wins.
This is not a new issue.
It’s just that the level of BoomerCon denial has been so great for so long that there have been massive irreversible changes.
For decades the centre-right corporate conservatives have been promising us that all the non-white, non-Christian immigrants were supposedly pro-family and pro-small business and the Left was not importing their majorities from the Third World...
So much for that theory.
True. I tend to agree with those who are saying the deep state is either blackmailing Johnson or threatening him in some way. It’s not easy to believe that that sort of thing happens in our government, but events of the past few years leave little doubt that it happens.
Something seems different about Johnson’s betrayal. Unlike Boehner, Ryan and McCarthy, he didn’t spend decades rising through the establishment ranks. His ascendency to the Speakership took the establishment of guard, as did McCarthy’s ouster as Speaker. I think he probably came in with good intentions but was flipped at some point.
so you will vote for Biden... or someone else that will put Biden back in the WH? You are the insane one then....we are at the crossroads for our Country.
I am upset with Johnson... I was happy to see him put in this position .... but he truly has disappointed me terribly... that being said, Trump MUST WIN this election or we are done as a nation....PERIOD!!
Discussion ended now on my part....
Yes!
It is interesting bedfellows Trump has chosen. Turned back on border, now supporting Ukraine aid, supporting Johnson who is delivering Biden’s agenda, even embracing abortion. What next?
