JERUSALEM — Israel’s war cabinet deliberated Monday how to respond to Iran’s unprecedented aerial assault without rankling allies and squandering an opportunity to build an international alliance against Tehran.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asked the Israel Defense Forces to provide a target list, according to an official familiar with high-level discussions, who said Israel is mulling retaliation that would “send a message” but not cause casualties. The options include a potential strike on a facility in Tehran or a cyberattack, according to the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitivity of the talks.

One Jericho missile
Medium yield nuke
Dashte Kavir desert
A cyber attack that totally f-ed up Iran’s nuclear program would be great if it could be done.
Do you write for Pravda?
You bring up an interesting point. Back in October, I said that Israel would be the first nation since 1945 to use nukes in a war. FReepers assumed I meant Israel would use them in Gaza. That’s not what I meant. I meant Iran.
Measured? lol. They gave it everything they had.
There are plenty of IRG scattered around the world that won’t be missed by any civilized people.
Just absolutely pathetic
A Spam attack would be nice, maybe send every IRGC officer a photoshop of General Salami with a Genoa Salami package.
Which surprises me to be honest consider precedent.
It would be about the first time oil didn't spike due to unrest in the ME.
Looking at a geo-map of Iran, Iran offers several perfect, vast, deserts to pop a nuke in. The Iranians themselves will demonstrate/ test their 1st nukes there when they have them.
Iran, in delivering this direct attack, and its following threatening rhetoric, has given Israel the perfect ‘gift’ and justification to strike.
Perhaps Israel has some neutron warheads?
Middle of the day, out of the blue. On a Friday.
Thereafter they deliver the message that if Iran delivers any further attack against Israel, the following Iranian cities will cease to exist. With Qom at the top of the list .
If the SHTF I'll look back and consider that a bargain.
Stuff your propaganda.

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security Commission, Abolfazl Amouei has stated tonight that Iran is prepared to utilize “A Weapon it has never before Used” if Israel decides to launch a Retaliatory Attack.
Israel /Mossad had identified one of those IRGC dudes as a primary planner and facilitator for the Hamas Oct 7th attack. Israel has a long, sharp memory, and the wicked do not escape. No matter who, or where, they are
If only America could be more like Israel
We filled up Sunday evening at $3.39 for gas and $3.99 for off road diesel.
Fuel oil is a bit cheaper than that. And the local propane prices are $2.14 for home use in a big tank.
You’re in CA, I’m sorry to see.
I guessed that when I saw the price you paid.
It didn’t spike after the initial assault in October too.
Traders anticipate the future.
As you’ve seen at the local gas station, oil is up quite a bit since New Years.
They were anticipating increased issues in Russia and the middle east.
Ironically, I pointed out in October that they were not trading as if a big war was coming. The OP and likeminded ignored it. If they had been paying attention, they would’ve noticed the rise since New Years and would’ve been pointing out for months that issues may be coming soon. But they’re not interested in trying to figure out what is going on. They’re interested in pushing an agenda.
Perhaps so, but that could be because nobody is planning a conflict.
This may happen in spite of them.
Time will tell.
FWIW, as far as Oct 7, that wasn’t really a regional thing, not in the same way this current situation is.
Bomb their sewage treatment plants, water reservoirs and electric generation. They'll suffer but not die.
