MOSCOW, (Sputnik) - At least nine Iranian missiles have hit two of Israel's airbases during the recent attack, damaging infrastructure, ABC News reported on Sunday, citing an unnamed senior US official.
Five ballistic missiles struck Israel's Nevatim airbase, damaging a C-130 military transport aircraft, a runway and storage facilities, while four more missiles hit an Israeli airbase in the Negev desert but without any significant damage reported.
On Saturday night, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched over 300 drones and missiles at Israel in its first-ever direct attack on Israeli territory, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said. The attack came in response to Israel's airstrike on the Iranian consulate in Damascus on April 1.

Who to believe? Russian state run media? Or EU and US state-run media, which immediately claimed 99% shoot-down success rate?

If Israel shot down 99% that leaves 1% that got through.

At this stage of things those number differences of 98-99% versus 9 missiles are not that big a deal.
Right now there appears to be zero deaths, one injury and almost zero damage, that is what is amazing, the defense was extraordinary.

Israel announced the targets of attack ( two bases)at the very start even before all the missile and drone waves were launched
Did Iran use old crappy drones and missiles that got shot down and the newer versions with precise accuracy are the ones that hit remote areas the base?
Remember missiles also hit US base in Iraq in mostly empty areas a few years ago
Did Israel let those missiles thru so Iran could claim “victory”?
Did Iran let “99 percent” of projectiles get shot down so Israel could claim victory?
Will Israel “strike back” and hit a few Iranian targets which will be emptied out before hand?
Then that will be the end??

You still aren’t making any sense.
There is no point in believing anything from the media.
Here are the things to not believe:
1) The number of attacking objects.
2) The labeling of those objects (ballistic missile, cruise missile, drone, UAV, balloon). There are no pure definitions, even if journalism majors could understand them.
3) Casualty counts
4) The number of intercepts.
5) Damage caused.
In other words, believe nothing. We will be told nothing that does not align with a narrative created by whoever in as self-serving a manner as possible.
I don’t believe anything coming out of any Deep State.

They hit 99% of the ones they aimed for. Ones that weren’t going to hit anything didn’t need to be targeted.
I don't know if that's the kind of "hit" they're reporting now or if they're saying the missiles were operational and exploded successfully when they hit pay dirt.

Probably true. And it might be 99% of the ones that made it past the interceptors from Jordan and Iraq. So after you filter out the ones that other folks intercepted, and the ones like you said that were going to hit nothing targets in the desert, it's probably 99% successful interceptions of a much smaller number than 300.
IMHO 99% of a small number is still an awesome success. Especially to those of us old enough to remember the egg heads at MIT and other Dims saying missile defense wouldn't work, that "you can't hit a bullet with another bullet". Evidently you can.
You are posting that you don’t know anything about what might have happened in Israel, you took the trouble to post on it so you must think something happened there, or do you think nothing happened at all?
