Representatives Joseph Lara of Cagayan’s third district and Faustino “Inno” Dy V of Isabela’s sixth district said the presence of large numbers of Chinese nationals in this region and other parts of the country pose a risk to the country’s national security and economy, particularly since these foreigners had been involved in “spurious schemes.”

this is near two joint US/Philippine bases at the tip of the Northern Philippines, the area closest to Taiwan. There are also a lot of military age men working in Manila casinos.

yes and there are quite a few Iranian students in colleges in Cebu. But these students are positioned at the tip of the Philippines where the Philippine military and Americans have joint bases, which are there to be able to defend Taiwan.

Tuguegarao doesnt really have any well-regarded schools. There are quite good ones in Cebu and Davao, especially for the price, and the English language instruction, so I can understand foreign medical students studying there.
