Ireland is close to formally recognizing a Palestinian state and would like to do so in concert with Spain and other like-minded countries, its new prime minister Simon Harris said on Friday after meeting his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez, reported the Reuters news agency.
“Let me this evening say our assessment is that that point is coming much closer and we would like to move together in doing so,” Harris said after meeting Sanchez, the first premier to visit Dublin since Harris became prime minister this week.
“When we move forward, we would like to do so with as many others as possible to lend weight to the decision and to send the strongest message. The people of Israel deserve a secure and peaceful future, so do the people of Palestine. Equal sovereignty, equal respect,” Harris added.
Spain and Ireland, together with Malta and Slovenia, announced last month that they would jointly work toward the recognition of a Palestinian state.

Good put the Palestinians in your country then
They’d be idiotic to do so since there’s no such place as Palestine.
Zechariah 12:2-3.
“Thus declares the Lord who stretches out the heavens, lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him, ‘Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes reeling to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah. It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.’”
The Irish expressed their condolences on Hitler’s death, and nothing has changed since then.
Ireland,my ancestral homeland, was once a proud and decent nation. But thanks largely (and very possibly *entirely*) to her membership in the EU she is now just another tawdry little European cesspool.
To recognize Palestine as a state would require them to actually have a state, IE: Land.
Otto Von Bismarck said that the Dutch and Irish needed to trade countries, i.e. that in two years the Dutch would turn Ireland into a garden of eden and that in the same two years, the Irish would be drunk on their asses and neglect the dikes, and all drown...
The time just keeps on coming

Nothing like rewarding terrorism and barbarism. Ireland and like-minded countries will get theirs:
Genesis 12:3 -
“And I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse, and all the families of the earth shall be blessed in you.”
Let’s play Simon says.
Simon says there is a Country called Palestine.
If you (whomever ) said, “yes” when did that happen?

Mostly because of IRA/USSR propaganda that has become part of the EUSSR narrative.
Excellent, bring them to Ireland!
RTE reporting now that Harris says they’ll recognize so-called “Palestine” only “when the time is right”, which means they don’t have sufficient support out of the rest of the EUSSR.
I just checked, and three Arab nations - Egypt, Iran, and Iraq - in the general vicinity of Israel have a combined square mileage of 1,192,000 square miles. Israel has about 8,400 square miles, well under 1% of those three countries. If you add in other countries like Libya and Saudi Arabia, Israel occupies only about .3% of the territory these Arab nations occupy. In fact, Israel is only about 13% of the size of Syria and 22% the size of Jordan. But for the “from the river to the sea” folks, even that is too much - Israel should not exist at all.
The “two state solution” - which would not be a solution but an incentive for ongoing Muslim terrorism against Israel - would make Israel considerably smaller than it already is, nd would undoubtedly consist of arable land built up by the Israelis in the last 70 years, so that much of Israel’s remaining land would consist of the Negev desert.
I have an 1849 map titled “Turkey in Asia” that delimits and names “Palestine” more or less where it is today.
Or ethnic people.
Because they hate the British and the Palestine situation is a remnant of the British Mandate.
and this so called state, will be comprised of what???
